John F. Ohlund

John grew up in a construction family and is a third generation builder on the Peninsula. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Management and has worked in the construction industry for over thirty years. John served his union apprenticeship with a local custom home builder and then went on to work as a carpenter, carpenter-foreman and superintendent working on high-end custom homes on the Peninsula. Working for general contractors from the ground up has given him a well-rounded background in construction. John has always enjoyed the construction process, especially the challenge of the ground-up structural stage of the job. John's experience as a carpenter and foreman from start to finish on many large projects has given him an appreciation of the entire construction process and the importance of the coordination between the general contractor and all of the sub-contractors. This experience and his love of construction has helped in building a successful foundation and framing business that focusses on quality and service.
